Money Temperature composite 57 on Friday's reading, the same as a week ago — neutral, in a week chips fell and the average stock rose, and by its own construction not a signal.

None of the five books bought or sold anything this week. The log holds dividends and one share split, nothing else. That is worth writing down in a week when the chip fund SOXX fell 5.0 percent and the books' chip-heavy lines carried most of the damage.
Where it hurt, line by line, from Friday's closes against last Friday's. SK Hynix's ADR fell 13.4 percent to 169.03, and it sits in three books: AI Build-Out and Global Tech 50 hold 100.01 ADRs each, Hypergrowth 80.01. BE Semiconductor fell 13.2 percent and Nebius 9.0 percent to 221.07, the biggest dollar hit in Hypergrowth, which holds 200 shares. Most of the chip drop came on Thursday, when SOXX lost 3.4 percent after a report put OpenAI's revenue nearer 50 billion dollars than 70 billion.
Where it helped: software and the apps. Palantir rose 10.8 percent to 209.05, Snowflake 8.2 percent and Datadog 5.8 percent; the software fund IGV gained 3.9 percent and the cloud fund CLOU 4.5 percent. Nubank was the best line in the books, up 20.0 percent to 16.12; Global Tech 50 and Hypergrowth hold 1,000 shares each. Shopify, Spotify and MercadoLibre each rose 11 to 13 percent in Global Tech 50.
The one change in share counts that is not a dividend is a split. Ibiden's ADR split two for one on Friday, so Global Tech 50 now holds 1,000 ADRs instead of 500. Nothing was bought or sold and the cost stays at 16,204 dollars. At Friday's 18.26 the line is worth 18,260 dollars, 12.7 percent above cost; Ibiden itself fell 4.8 percent in Tokyo on the week.
Tokyo Electron, again, because the tracker has still not caught up. It shows the ADR at its pre-split 164.55 dollars, five times too high, for the second week running; the last trade on the ADR was 40.10 on Tuesday. Priced from Friday's Tokyo close, 12,445 yen at 158.25 yen to the dollar and half a share per ADR, an ADR is worth about 39.32 dollars. That makes the AI Build-Out line about 19,700 dollars, 34 percent above its 14,748.75 cost, and the Global Tech 50 line about 17,700 dollars, more than four times its 4,087.87 cost. These are the numbers this diary uses until the quote is fixed.
Everything else was dividends. AI Build-Out reinvested Kulicke and Soffa on Wednesday, 0.22 shares at 94.95, now 100.22; the stock closed Friday at 92.01. SK Hynix paid on Wednesday, 0.01 ADRs at 178.25 in each of the three books. TSMC paid on Thursday at 457.99, the same day it reported September sales of 511.9 billion Taiwan dollars, 54.6 percent more than a year earlier; the three books now hold 45.17 (AI Build-Out), 50.28 (Hypergrowth) and 50.22 (Global Tech 50) ADRs, and the ADR closed Friday at 453.31.
Global ETFs logged nothing, which makes twelve weeks in a row without a trade; its Korea fund EWY fell 7.6 percent and its Latin America fund ILF rose 9.1 percent. The derivatives book also logged nothing. Its Cloudflare September-2027 250 put sits 30.7 percent under Friday's close of 360.93, and its short Nubank December 20 put is 3.88 dollars in the money, 2.69 dollars less than a week ago after Nubank's jump.
Where the recent fills stood at Friday's close, said plainly. Western Digital, sold at 445.29 on 1 October, closed at 397.28, 10.8 percent under the sale. SanDisk, doubled at 1,732.07 the same day, closed at 1,581.82, 8.7 percent under that fill and down 8.0 percent on the week, so the second five shares are under water. Micron, sold at 976.00, closed at 1,029.00, 5.4 percent above the sale. Qualcomm, sold at 183.74, closed at 175.50, 4.5 percent under it. Nebius sits 4.2 percent above the 212.19 buy-back and 2.0 percent under the 225.56 sale. Lumentum closed at 1,103.36, 17.9 percent over its 935.70 fill.
The calls written three weeks ago, against Friday's closes. Corning at 156.67 is 5.0 percent under its 165 strike, further away than a week ago. Rocket Lab at 68.21 is 14.7 percent under 80, and Nubank at 16.12 is 5.2 percent under 17, much closer after the week's jump. The five ASE calls at 40 are 6.43 dollars in the money with the stock at 46.43. The two Nebius January-2028 250 calls are 13.1 percent out of the money. In Hypergrowth the short December-2026 250 call on Cloudflare is 110.93 dollars in the money. Option prices in the tracker are its recorded quotes, not live ticks.
The week those books sat through: SOXX down 5.0 percent while the Nasdaq 100 fund QQQ edged up 0.2 percent and the equal-weight S&P fund RSP rose 1.6 percent; small caps (IWM) fell 0.9 percent. The 30-year Treasury yield ended at 5.60 percent, a touch below last Friday's 5.63. Agentic Winners 40 rose 4.9 percent, while Rubin Build-Out 100 fell 3.4 percent, Euro-AI 50 2.2 percent and HALO 100 0.2 percent. Prices quoted are Friday's closes; the dividend fills sit in the log, line by line.
The four wikifolios that run alongside these books keep their own public ledgers: every transaction in Closelooknet, AI Cycle 2030, ETF Generation and The Compound is visible on wikifolio itself, trade by trade. How the vehicles work, and who the issuer is, lives on the Trade the Look page. Nothing here is a recommendation and none of it is advice: it is the log of what this diary's books actually did between last Friday's close and this one's. The full ledger, newest first, is on the signals page.
