How to read this

Each bar is a sector's cumulative performance, rebased so every sector starts at 100 — the higher the bar, the more it has returned since the start. Bars re-sort every month; the leader paints brand red. The rest carry a family colour: indigo for tech & communications, amber for cyclicals (consumer, financials, industrials, materials, energy), teal for defensives (staples, utilities, health care, real estate). When amber and teal bars climb past the indigo ones, leadership is rotating out of growth.

Source: EODHD daily adjusted closes for the 11 SPDR Select Sector ETFs (the S&P 500 decomposed by sector).
Value: cumulative performance rebased to 100 at the first frame — comparable across sectors regardless of price level.
Time window: 2024-12-31 → 2026-06-05, 19 monthly snapshots.
Pacing: 0.6 months/second ≈ 32 s full race.
