Bonds — the long end breaks: 30-year at 5.56%, gold -3.9%; MongoDB sinks 18% as Meta moves in

Monday's biggest move was in bonds. The long-bond fund TLT fell to 78.62, 0.4% above its 52-week low after five down sessions, and the 30-year Treasury yield closed at 5.561%, higher than Friday's 5.504%, already the highest since 2004. The 10-20 year and 7-10 year funds sit at their lows as well. The editor reads it as a global move: Japan normalizing its rates and European sovereign credit weakening. Gold fell 3.94% in one day, rare for the metal.
