Stack Flip

A binary state change where price crosses a major moving average, typically the 200-day SMA.

Stack Flip is Closelook's term for a binary state change where price crosses a major moving average, typically the 200-day SMA, flipping a name from a bearish to a bullish stack or vice versa. It is used as a regime gate rather than a fine-tuned entry signal. See Stack Flip 101.
